PDO threads are made of Polydioxanone material and PLA threads are made of Poly Lactic Acid material and PLACL thread (Poly Lactic Acid, ε-caprolactone).
The PDO suture plays a role of wrinkle removal and the production of collagen as a foreign body effect is maintained for about 6 months in the human body, after the thread inclusion therapy.
Then, the PDO suture is converted to water and carbon dioxide and completely absorbed without any residue through the hydrolysis process.
Dongwon Medical Global with a great experience in development and design of solutions in PDO threads, has a wide range of threads such as Monofilament, Tornado, Cog and harpoon, focused on the different indications.
1. Suture (thread) : An absorbable suture of polydioxanone material inserted into the muscle.
2. Bowing : As a part to be inserted into the body, a needle.
3. Handle : It is inserted and fixed in the sinking hole to facilitate the attachment of the needle and serves as a handle in the procedure.
4. Protective cover : Protect cover nail tips and sutures
5. Sponge : Fixation of sutures and sutures
3) NEEDLE TYPE
Combination of sutures and various universal catheter cannulas.
The needle is inserted into the subcutaneous layer of the skin and remains implanted in the skin as it is removed.
Inserting dozens of needles into the deeper layers of the skin with an absorbable thread activates mechanical stimulation of the natural regeneration process and wound healing and tissue contraction.
PDO and PLA threads have proven to be secure, and the fundamental difference between these threads is a continuing impact.
PDO threads can last about 12 months, while PLA threads can last up to 24 months depending on the study.
